Hey y’all! Its Jacob here, and im telling you a little bit about me. I grew up in a family from Kentucky and grew up between Bowlingreen and Nortonville. I also spent a lot of my life in southern Illinois, especially on the river up there. Hunting and fishing are my favorite things to do when i’m not working, as well as fixing and flipping boats when i’ve got some spare time. My family consists of coal miners, nurses, construction workers, police officers, and military veterans. I first got into construction when my grandparents house flooded; I was very young at the time but most of our family was there working to get their house rebuilt. I learned a lot, but the thing that stuck with me the most was how easy it is for me to understand how houses worked. From there I fell in love with construction and remodeling homes. I even went to school at Murray state in Murray, Kentucky for construction management. After college I decided to start my own company in Illinois as a contractor. That company started with a pressure washer, a gas can, and a dream. I started getting busier and busier by the days and before I knew it I was a full time contractor and remodeler. After 4 years working for myself, I decided to move down to florida to continue my path in construction. Down here the license did not transfer… but the license I do have allows me to operate as a handyman. Now that i’m down here i’m much happier, the environment is so much better, and the water is where I want to be. I take a lot of pride in where I live and will always help the community the best that I can.
